Visa Information

Citizens of countries outside the Schengen Area must acquire all the necessary information about applying to a Visa before travelling to Portugal. Should it be necessary to request an Acceptance Letter in order to apply for a Visa, applicants must:

  1. be an author of an accepted Abstract, either Oral or Poster presentation
  2. send an e-mail to the Workshop Secretariat (iwamo2019@ua.pt) stating the request for the Letter and include in the e-mail text the applicant’s full name, date of birth, current address and passport’s data (number, country, issue date and expiry date)

Please note that Visa arrangements must be handled by each participant at their own responsibility. Also, the Acceptance Letter to be sent to applicants does not, in any way, financially oblige the IWAMO 2019 Organisation for the expenses that participants will incur associated with travel, accommodation, registration and all remaining Workshop attendance.

(Please note only Authors with a complete and paid Registration until 31 March 2019 will have their Abstract included in the Final Programme and published in the Workshop Book)

 

Registration Form

The Registration Form is a fillable pdf document. Please make sure all fields have the correct information, especially the data for the invoice/receipt. Send the filled out form along with a copy of the bank transfer proof by e-mail (with subject REGISTRATION) to the Workshop Secretariat (iwamo2019@ua.pt). If your Institution requires an invoice prior to making the payment, send only the filled out form and state the request for the invoice.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Refund conditions for cancelled participations are:

  • registrations cancelled until 31 March 2019 will be refunded 50% of the registration fee
  • registrations cancelled from 1 April 2019 onward will not be eligible for a refund

For cancellations and/or refunds it will be necessary to send an e-mail to the Workshop Secretariat (iwamo2019@ua.pt) stating the request.
